Location: El Zapote, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortes, Honduras
Project Justification: Why do you need the project?
The current fence at the cemetery is in very poor conditions and as a result people of poor reputation and animals can access it freely.
Supervisor’s Note: The local community council and local church have identified this fence as an important local initiative that could improve El Zapote’s security, appearance, and service to the community members. Culturally in Honduras, well-secured cemeteries are important for the respect and dignity of the deceased. This fence is particularly needed to prevent roaming livestock from invading the cemetery.
General Objective: What do you hope to achieve with the project?
To provide better protection and security in our cemetery.
Beneficiaries: Who and how many will continually benefit from this project?
The community of El Zapote.

The local church will provide 10 bags of cement ($70).
Fencing, cement, and other construction materials are requested from an outside donor ($9,575).
