This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you make a donation to the ministry– either via check or online– or when you visit www.hth.org ("our website").


PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you make a donation or attempt to make a donation through our website or via check, we collect certain information from you, including your name, address, payment information (including credit card numbers if applicable), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Donor Information”.

We use the Donor Information that we collect generally for processing your payment information and providing you with receipts. Additionally, we use this Donor Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Share ministry news;
  • Share financial needs and prayer requests;
  • Share any changes in mission, policy, or practice


We use the Device Information that we collect to improve and optimize our website (for example, by generating analytics about how our partners browse and interact with our website, and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns).


SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We retain Donor Information for as long as we reasonably require it for legal or ministry purposes. In determining data retention periods, Heart to Honduras takes into consideration data protection regulations, local laws, contractual obligations and the expectations and requirements based on the nature of the relationship with Heart to Honduras.


CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
