Solicitor: Iglesia Brazos Abiertos (Church of the Open Arms), Quebradas del Agua
Location: Quebradas del Agua, San Francisco de Yojoa, Cortes, Honduras
Project justification: As a congregation, we are motivated to finalize the construction of our church, and to be able to enjoy all the activities of the church as we serve the Body of Christ and the community here. We want to be able to make a greater spiritual and socio-emotional impact on the people of our community and to provide them with meaningful time with God together with our neighbors.
Description: This phase of the project will complete the cement floor, install all the electric work, doors, and windows.
Supervisor’s Note: this is the final phase of a 3-phase project to construct the church building. The local church, local pastors’ association, local government, and stateside donors have collaborated well on the first two phases. The pastor and congregation are very excited to see their church building complete!
Beneficiaries: the local church members and the community at-large
The local pastors’ association will provide the resources for the floor and the installation of the electric. (8% of total resources)
The Quebradas church will also contribute toward the floor and electric as well as the sand and skilled labor. (14% of total resources)
HtH collaborators are invited to provide funds for the remaining construction materials and supplies, as well as skilled labor. (78% of total resources)
