Project Justification: Why do you need the project?

The International Extreme Camp is a place where we attend to many young people from different churches, schools, and institutions, and our obstacle course is currently in poor condition.


General Objective: What do you hope to achieve with the project?

Improved attention, security, and service to the young people that visit our camp.

Supervisor’s Note: The obstacle course includes approximately 10 different activities that utilize lumber, rope, wire, tires, concrete, and other materials.

Development Strategies How are you planning to execute the project?

  1. Assure that all legal documents are in order.

  2. Socialize (explain and present) this project with: leadership of HTH and local churches.

  3. Utilize local resources like: stone, labor, and sand.

  4. Seek the support of: local churches, mayor, and US donors.

  5. The project will be executed under the supervision of the Department of Community Development.

Direct Beneficiaries: Who and how many will continually benefit from this project?

Approximately 1,000 young people that visit us every year.

Indirect Beneficiaries: Who and how many will occasionally benefit from this project?

Future campers.

Collaboration:

  • The local mayor will provide sand ($120).

  • HTH will provide all labor ($545).

  • Remaining materials are requested from an outside donor ($3050).
