To designate your gift toward a specific project, please indicate the name of the project (as listed on one of the "Projects" pages of this web site) on your check or money order. Gifts with no designation will be placed in the general fund.
Items should be packed to withstand the rigors of shipping and contents should be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Please keep in mind that Heart to Honduras' goal is to meet basic needs. No plastic toys, please.
Note: When sending medicines, please make sure they have not passed their expiration dates. Honduran government law does not allow expired medicines to be brought into the country. Heart to Honduras is privileged to have a good working relationship with the Honduran Department of Health, which has given the ministry mandate for tending to the medical needs of over 2,000 individuals living within a two-hour walk of the Canchias Medical / Dental / Eye Clinic. To bring outdated medicines into the country would seriously jeopardize our relationship with the Honduran government and our ability to serve the medical needs of the Honduran people. If you donate outdated medicines, we will not be able to use them.
Heart to Honduras is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. Contributions are tax-deductible.
