Canchias Clinic

A medical, dental and eye clinic operated by Heart to Honduras in the village of Canchias is authorized to
serve the medical needs of some 2,000 residents of twelve rural communities lying within a two-hour walk
of Canchias. In reality, needy people come from much farther away than this to receive treatment. The
villages served by the Canchias Clinic are very poor, and without the Clinic, many would have no access to
medical service at all. The Clinic is operated by a full-time doctor whose salary is paid by Heart to
Honduras. In addition, the Clinic requires monthly operating expenses to continue its valuable service.

Amount needed:

$350.00 / month for the doctor
$275.00 / month for Clinic operation
$1,500.00 for road, fence
