Project: Church Roof
Submitted: March 2017
Solicitor: Pastor Jesus Mendoza - Church of Open Arms to Love and Restore
Location: Caliche, Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortes
Project Justification: Why do you need the project?
The current roof is in poor condition and water is able to pass into the sanctuary and damage the instruments. In addition, rainfall makes the church services very difficult.
General Objective: What do you hope to achieve with the project?
Our current roof is made of asbestos and is past its useful life (19 years). We hope that by changing the roof, we can have our services without difficulties (interruptions) or need to be always moving the instruments.
Beneficiaries: Who and how many will continually benefit from this project?
The local church will provide wood and labor ($280).
Roofing materials (screws, roofing sheets, etc) are requested from an outside donor.
