Solicitor: Local Church of Open Arms of Heart to Honduras
Location: Quebradas de Agua, San Francisco de Yojoa, Cortes, Honduras
Project Justification: Why do you need the project?
In order to continue the construction of our church building. We would like to have an appropriate and adequate place to congregate and worship.
Supervisor’s Note: The land on which the church is currently meeting was donated by a local community member. Funds have been provided for the first step of the project, which has finished the foundation and part of the walls.
General Objective: What do you hope to achieve with the project?
To bring people to Christ Jesus and to meet together as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Supervisor’s Note: This second step of the project is planned to complete the construction of the concrete block walls and install the roof on the church building.
Beneficiaries: Who and how many will continually benefit from this project?
Currently, 15 adults and 8 children, as the congregation continues to grow.
The local church will provide sand, wood for concrete forms, and assistant labor ($350).
Construction materials and professional labor payment are requested from an outside donor.
