A significant part of the Sister Church program is the building of an ongoing relationship between the Sister Churches. This requires communication between the two churches on a regular basis. Too often however, things get busy and weeks then months go by and no contact has been made. For some of our churches they communicate with each other on a monthly or even weekly basis. Others hardly talk at all. I want to help facilitate this aspect of the program. I want to help you communicate with your Sister Church.
I will be traveling to Honduras and Nicaragua this June 4 through the18th. I would love to take with me letters for all the Sister Church Pastors. I would also like to then bring back letters from them to you. Please write a quick letter to your Sister Church pastor and congregation. Include your past exciting news and events, your upcoming summer activities, your praises and your prayer concerns. I will have the letters translated and pass them on to the pastors for you.
Please email them to stevedelisle@hth.org by June 1 so that I can get them translated and ready. If you are communicating with your Sister Church directly, please copy me in on emails so I know what is going on or if your calling them, let me know you called.
