Heart to Honduras’ School of Discipleship is an intensive 2 year program designed to train and instruct young people to become pastors, missionaries and worship leaders. Young people from all across Central American commit to the 2 year program to learn more about being leaders, study the Bible and follow the Lord’s calling.
In January of 2011 a new group of 14 students arrived in Canchias to begin their studies. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of one of the students please contact the Heart to Honduras office.

Sponsoring a Student
It is Heart to Honduras’ goal for every School of Discipleship student to receive a full scholarship provided by a North American sponsor. Not only does this sponsorship program provide financial assistance; it also provides prayer and emotional support for the students. Sponsoring a student includes receiving prayer requests, letters and photos are exchanged to keep sponsors and students updated on each others’ lives and needs. During the weeks leading up to graduation students send letters to their sponsors which contain many expressions of gratitude for the help they had been given. At graduation they joyfully received Bible Dictionaries and other gifts and cards from their proud padrinos (Sponsors/American Families).
