As a component of Heart to Honduras, the camp draws on the resources of the ministry as a missions organization that has 20 years of traveling and missions work experience. The camp is modeled after the 50‐60 “ministry teams” that join Heart to Honduras each year in working with the spiritual & physical needs of the poor in Honduras.
The Campamento Extremo Internacional (Spanish for International Extreme Youth Camp) is a great opportunity for young people to participate in missions, experience cross‐cultural interaction and see God at work perhaps more clearly than ever! The key to this camp is showing young people that God is alive and has a vested interest in them, and that Christ wants to see them succeed in life and in Him. As the campers interact with local Hondurans during work projects, church services, walking through villages & site‐seeing, they will see the poverty and lack of resources of a 3rd World country, yet an abundance of hope, a reliance on God and a sense of teamwork amongst the villagers.
C.E.I. campers will be participating in a building project in the morning and camp activities in the afternoon & evening. Each afternoon a different activity will be explored, all designed with the goals of highlighting God in our lives, fun, discipleship & interaction.
Heart to Honduras’ International Extreme Camp provides a fantastic opportunity in the form of a Missions/Camp experience. Taking youth to Honduras will give them a very unique encounter with Christ, insight into how He works in the lives of others from different places of the world and a chance to participate in a missions project.
Swimming, devotions, ropes courses, building projects, worship services, cross cultural opportunities, games, and more all rolled up into one fun‐filled spiritual adventure!
