Canchias Assembly Hall Roof
If you have been to Canchias in the past two years you already have guessed why the back half of the roof was missing a
couple of weeks ago. You may have had your team supplies or even your own self drenched during a torrential downpour that was not prevented from invading the premises by the worn out roof that was riddled with holes. In places, this was not a matter of a few drips or even of a tiny stream. It was coming in as if through a gutter downspout!
Well, all that is now a matter of a shared memory – like the shock of your first cold shower or the way you gripped the back of the bus seat in front of you when the traffic was particularly, shall we say, intense! The old roof was removed before breakfast that day, and the new one was in place by lunch time, so THIS rainy season will mean we can trust that our team supplies will be dry and the only dampness to our clothes during services will be from the sweat of our energetic worship!

Great improvement! Thanks HTH/CPH !
I was a part of the team that installed the original roof on that facility many years ago. Guess we should have used a smaller hammer in places.
Great to see the upgrade to this facility. I’ve been the recipient of many other blessings in that place since it was built.
