Team Leader

Team Leaders are responsible for making sure all group members are prepared for their trip. This includes registration with Heart to Honduras, purchasing airline tickets and International Insurance, spiritual preparation of team members, coordinating trip details with Heart to Honduras, and more. The forms and links below are the responsibility of each Team Leader and will assist the leader as they walk through the process of preparing and leading a team on a Short-Term Mission trip with Heart to Honduras.

FORM 2A – PARENTAL CONSENT FOR TRAVELING MINORS

Airlines require this form when minors (children under the age of 18) travel without their parents or travel with only one of their birthparents (or legal guardian). Even in the case of divorce and death we have seen airlines require written proof. Please keep this form in your possession at all times during your trip.

FORM 3 – TEAM TRACKING WORKSHEET

Use Form 3 to keep track of paperwork, forms and funds that have been turned in by each of your team members.

FORM 5 – DESIGNATED CONTACT PERSON

Designate a Non-Team member for this role. In the case of an Emergency or Urgent news, Heart to Honduras or a Team Member in Honduras will contact the Designated Contact. This person will be responsible for contacting all or some of the Emergency Contacts.

This form, given to the Emergency Contact Person in the States, details who to call and in what order if there is news to relay to family and friends.

FORM 7 – TEAM PHOTOGRAPHER

Heart to Honduras enjoys “seeing” the work that your team will accomplish while in Honduras. Please designate an “Official” photographer who would be willing to share all photos taken with Heart to Honduras for publication and advertisement use at a later date.

FORM 8 – INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE

Each member of the team must have International Health Insurance which covers them the entire time they are outside of the United States.

FORM 9 – AIRLINE INFORMATION

These airlines are the most typical airlines that fly into San Pedro Sula’s Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport.

FORM 10 – OPTIONAL RECREATION EXCURSIONS

Heart to Honduras can facilitate a fun/educational journey for you while you are in Honduras. Many groups use this additional day in Honduras to relax and prepare themselves mentally and spiritually for their return home. These excursions are optional.
