On our ministry property there are flush toilets. In other places there may or may not be any restroom facilities, and often there will not be toilet paper, so always carry some in your pocket or backpack. The Honduran practice (including in hotels, restaurants and at the airport) is to place all soiled toilet paper in the waste can beside the toilet to avoid overloading their septic system. Failure to due this will cause our Honduran staff to have to clean out the septic tank by hand to unplug it. Please don’t make them do this!
