The housing in Canchias resembles church camp dormitories with bunk beds. There are also hammocks on the covered porches which make delightful napping places, and, with enough bug spray, can be slept in at night also. The restrooms and shower rooms are attached to the cabins and have running, though not heated, water. This cold water feels great after a hot day of work – but not so great early in the morning. Your choice! The cabins and the meeting hall are connected with flagstone stairs and walkways, lined with beautiful tropical plants, beautifying your many trips back and forth along the steep paths.
