Your dormitory may have a pila, a tank that holds the clean water and a scrub board for doing laundry by hand. You may enjoy learning to do laundry the Honduran way. Ask someone for the “how-to’s.” Do not douse your clothes in the tank.

In the dry season (Feb. – May) your clothes may dry by noon. In the wet season (June – Jan.) it could take a couple of days. Most cabins have a clothes line available for use.
