You will eat most of your meals in the School of Discipleship dining hall, which is equipped with a large kitchen. Your leader will inform you when meals will be served. Please be on time. Chef and his staff work hard to prepare the food for the North American Teams, the SOD students and the ministry staff. Take time to thank the kitchen staff for their work.
The meals will feature a variety of Honduran and American dishes, often featuring fresh fruit and a lot of rice and beans! The handmade tortillas are truly Honduran and a big favorite. You may even get eggs from our own chickens or other items that the ministry grows.
Portions are often very generous. If you feel you cannot eat it all, please ask for less on your plate as it is considered very wasteful to throw food away.
