I have been to Honduras 3 times on mission trips and have grown very burdened for these beautiful people. The last time I went there (in May), the Lord told me that I would be a missionary there someday. I currently have 1.5 more years of physical therapy school here at the university of dayton and then who knows where the Lord will take me. I will need to pay off loans,but I wait patiently for the day the Spirit boldly says, “It’s time!” My heart is passionate for empowering women–I worked with an organization called Mi Esperanza in Hondo and I have worked with similar programs in Thailand to free women in sex slavery. So my question to you is do you have use for a long term missionary? It looks like you guys do a lot of short term trips, so I was wondering about long term. Thank you soooo much and God bless in your pursuit of Jesus living.
