While you or your loved one is in Honduras you should consider yourself “out of reach” with regard to daily communication with home, checking in with family, friends or work. When contact is made with a staff member in Ohio regarding the emergency, they will contact the staff in Honduras who will locate the team and deliver the message.

If there are threatening situations at home that may turn into emergencies during your time away, you need to seriously consider if you should make the trip.

Due to many fallible systems in Central America (electrical, communication, transportation, etc.) we cannot guarantee you will be able to immediately return home. We assure you, however, that we will try to meet whatever need arises in every way possible.
