Kaleb and Stacey Eldridge
Kaleb & Stacey’s second trip to Honduras confirmed their call to the development area of Heart to Honduras’ ministry. They recognize the value of every facet of the ministry, they have a particular passion to see people in poverty empowered to feed their own families, make a decent living, practice good hygiene and general health, become valuable members of society, practice sustainable living, grow closer to God, establish prudent financial practices and eventually care for their own sick, widows and orphans. Kaleb and Stacey said, “We believe that Christ has set the precedent for truly loving the world’s poor, and we wish to see that love spread through the ministry of development.”
Their initial goal is to investigate a village’s true needs by integrating into a village. The couple will move into the community and spend several months simply establishing themselves within the community. They will work to improve their new home by cleaning it up, starting a garden, making needed improvements. Their goal is to become a model community member, attend the local church, become acquainted with the local leadership and determine how they can work together to improve the community.

On your first trip to Honduras (and mine) our teams had the privilege of praying, eating, and worshipping together in Canchias in July 2010. Eventhough you were working on construction during the day and we were running a clinic, it was so wonderful to have time for our teams to blend and share how God was moving in so many ways through all of us! I am so glad to see you stepping out in faith to be the Lord’s hands and feet in Honduras. May God guide and bless you every step of the way!
