Financial Director

Joel Paredes joined Heart to Honduras in the spring of 2010 as the Financial Director in the stateside office. Joel, who was born and raised in Honduras, is already well-connected with this ministry, having served as the HTH Bookkeeper in the San Isidro office from 1998-2001. Since that time, he has earned his BA in Business Management and also received his MBA, both at Warner Southern College. Prior to his move to Ohio, Joel worked for 3 years in the law office of McKinley and Blenk, in Bartow, Florida.

Joel and his wife, Yosmila, have 3 children.: daughters Michel (born March 21, 2007) and Ariana (born March 16, 2010) and son Christopher Joel (born March 6, 2011). Joel and Yosmila met in Lake Wales, FL at Warner Southern College. Yosmila is from Colombia and came to the US on a sports scholarship.
